What School Fuel Funds
School Fuel provides classes.
School Fuel supports Novato's schools by providing classes that would otherwise not be available to students. School Fuel has a vision for Novato's public schools: students achieving their very best.
Over the last three years School Fuel has provided $425,222 for classes at all levels, K-12, for Novato students.
Classes provided by School Fuel include:
The 2006-2007 gift provided:
(1) Music teacher at the elementary schools
(3) Elective sections at the middle schools in the arts
(2) Elective sections at the high schools in the arts
NOVA, Marin Oaks, and Nexus received funds per enrollment to use toward their top needs.
3% of donations towards School Fuel's Endowment
The 2005-2006 gift provided:
(1) Music teacher at the elementary schools
(3) Elective sections at the middle schools: Art at San Jose & Sinaloa and Drama at Hill
(4) Elective sections at the high schools in drama and painting & drawing
NOVA and Marin Oaks received funds per enrollment to use toward their top needs.
The 2004-2005 gift provided:
(1.2) Elementary Music & P.E.
(3) Middle School Algebra sections – one for each middle school
(4) High School Electives – two for each high school (NHS & SMHS)
NOVA and Marin Oaks received funds per enrollment to use toward their top needs.
Art supplement in language arts per Art, Wine & Music Festival proceeds
Note: School Fuel's fundraising cycle runs from Sept. 1 to Aug. 31. The money raised is used to fund programs for the following school year. 3% of annual donations goes towards School Fuel's Endowment Fund.
