September:
September 9 – Rickey's Benefit - Rickey's
Restaurant at Inn Marin will host an open-to-the-public reception
from 5:00-6:00pm for School Fuel supporters. In addition,
the restaurant will donate back to School Fuel 40% of the
food and beverage revenue for all customers served on that
day. For information or to make a reservation, call 883-5952.
September 26 – Rock 'n' Blues by the Lake
- Come visit the School Fuel booths at Stafford Lake, 10:00am
to 7:30pm!
October:
October 10 – Rummage Sale
October 17 – Bocce Tournament - School
Fuel will host a bocce tournament at the lovely bocce courts
in San Rafael. Find a foursome and come join in the fun. For
more details, see registration
form.
October 23 – Giving Campaign Kick-Off
- Help School Fuel kickoff its annual contribution campaign
on Friday, October 23, from 5:00-7:00pm at the NUSD parking
lot (7th St. and Grant Ave.) with a free tour of the HAUNTED
SCHOOL HOUSE. A non-scary Halloween area with fun
activities will also be available.
December:
December 5 – Matt & Jeff's 7th Annual Wine
and Cheese Holiday Shopping Event - Enjoy refreshments
and music while you get your holiday shopping done at Matt
& Jeff’s wonderful gift shop. 20 percent of the
proceeds all day will be donated to School Fuel.
January:
January 30 – Paint the Town
Red - http://www.paintthetownred.org/
- This annual event honors Novato's Citizen and Businesses
of the Year, and will take place this year at the newly refurbished
City Hall. The evening's silent auction benefits School Fuel.
March:
March 19-28 – Art Smart Showcase 2010
- A gallery of creative works produced by Novato students
on display at Northbay Artworks: 7049 Redwood Blvd, Suite
208, 415-892-8188. Student readings and music will be featured
as well.
March 26 – Novato Grows Talent Telethon
- Tune in to Novato Public Access television station NPAT
to see Novato students from every grade level and every school
showcase their energy, ability and talent.
April:
May:
May 1 – Cycling for Schools - This
family fun event includes hiking, a bike rally to Stafford
Lake, a geocache treasure hunt, and more. This year's Tour
of Novato will also take place at San Marin High School
on the same day.
May 29 – Paradise Foods Pancake Breakfast -
Celebrate the anniversary of one of School Fuel's district
sponsors with pancakes, BBQ, games and activities for the
whole family. All proceeds benefit School Fuel. Click here

June:
June 1-4 – Softball Tournament -
Women's softball games will be played at Lu Sutton and Olive
school fields. See flyer

July:
July 4 – Race and Fun Run - The Tamalpa
Runner’s club has organized an early morning event in
cooperation with School Fuel to support local schools.

July 4 – Novato 4th of July Parade Float
- Novato Unified School District and School Fuel are working
on a combined Novato Schools entry in the parade. Every student,
staff, or family member is welcome to join the contingent.
